The year is coming to the end… do any of you have the habbit of doing reflections?
Maybe one thing we can think about is how our spiritual walk with God has been.

My cell group has it’s anniversary a week ago, and there was an exercise where we plotted how our spiritual walk has been over our entire life, and then later shared to one another. What i heard that was shared alot was things like:

Oh… when i started work… then life seemed so much busier, and I didn’t do QT as often. And that was where my spiritual life dropped

Just after the O levels, was when my graph was the highest! Singing songs, praising the Lord all day long. I had QT everyday, and my prayer life was good too

Can i suggest to you that your spiritual life can be rated not just by the number of times you do QT each day, not by the number of times u pray. Something important that we can think about is how much we are serving God. After all, service should come as a result of the relationship that we have we God.

*and of course…. there are many opportunites for you to join hands and serve with yfc *

1 Cor 3 is a good passage to read.

If we think are too busy with our school work, with our CCAs. Can you imagine what the situation will be like when we have a job, have a family to take care of? CCAs is something where we can choose. But time spent taking care of our child, having the responsibility to earn enough for your family, is not something you can choose. If even in your teenage years you’re unwilling to spare a little time for God, where’s the foundation for the time when u’re age 30.
