Afghan on trial for converting to Christianity

I think we’ve really got to keep him in prayer, and to also remember the Christians in afghanistan as well.

Abdul Rahman is charged with rejecting Islam and could face the death sentence under Sharia law unless he recants.

This case could also have drastic effects on Christians in the coutry in the future too

Observers say executing a converted Christian would be a significant precedent as a conservative interpretation of Sharia law in Afghanistan.

It’s hard to believe something like this happened, when it seems like something that’s happened hundreds of years ago. It’s incredible how strong faith is. I give him my utmost respect. I wish I could accomplish faith as reliable and unfailing. May God bless him and many others who are in the same trial.
