Many people have thought that dinosaurs’ remains are at least 65 millions years ago, while those who believe Genesis, believe that dinosaur remains are at most only a few thousand years old. Recent evidence that red blood cells exist in dinosaurs’ bones proved the latter’s belief to be right.
In 1990, a beautifully preserved T. Rex skeleton was unearthed in the United States . When the bones were brought to the Montana State University ‘s lab, it was noticed that some parts deep inside the long bone of the leg had not completely fossilized. To find unfossilized dinosaur bone is already an indication more consistent with a young age for the fossils. However, the greater surprise was that trace of real blood was found in the bones as well!
The fact that hemoglobin has indeed survived in this dinosaur bone casts immense doubt upon the ‘millions of years’ idea. This is because hemoglobin cannot survive for more than 6000 years, thus, the existence of it, and the still-recognizable shapes of red blood cells, in unfossilized dinosaur bone is powerful testimony against the whole idea of dinosaurs living millions of years ago. It speaks volumes for the Bible’s account of a recent creation.
Scientists measure the age of the earth through radiometric dating. The basic premise behind radiometric dating is that a parent element in a rock or other object containing the element (such as Potassium, K) decays over time into a daughter element (such as Argon, Ar) at a known rate, specified by its “half-lifeâ€.
The validity of radiometric dating depends upon three assumptions being correct. The decay rate being a constant is probably true but the other two are questionable (what was the parent/daughter ratio when the object being tested was “createdâ€; and the assumption that there has been no loss or addition of the parent or daughter component throughout its history). Scientists, of course, try to correct for these flaws through techniques such as carefully choosing the samples, dating multiple samples, etc. However, there are many cited cases of inconsistent dating results (where the obtained date was very different from the expected date. There is also the issue of “selective publicationâ€, where the reported dates will always tend to be those that fall into the “already known to be approximately correct†range, while other samples giving the “wrong date†“must be badâ€. The bottom line is that radiometric-dating procedures don’t provide the consistent absolute dating method that we would like to have. There are, however, evidences that point towards a young Earth. We will not discuss scientific evidences, such as: not enough mud and sodium in the sea floor, Earth’s magnetic field is decaying too fast, Helium is found in the wrong places, etc… but only theoretical thinking.
Evolutionary anthropologists say that the Stone Age lasted for at least 100,000 years, and that the population of “early men†is between one and 10 million. By this scenario, they would have buried the same number of bodies. If the evolutionary time-scale is correct, buried bones should be able to last for much longer than 100,000 years, so many of the supposed millions of Stone Age skeletons should still be around. Yet only a few thousand have been found. This implies that the Stone Age was much shorter than evolutionists think, a few hundred years in many areas.
The usual evolutionary picture has men existing as hunters and gatherers for 100,000 years during the Stone Age before discovering agriculture less than 10,000 years ago. Yet the archaeological evidence shows that Stone Age men were as intelligent as we are. It is very improbable that none of the few millions people mentioned should discover that plants grow from seeds. It is more likely that men were without agriculture less than a few hundred years after the Flood, if at all.
According to evolutionists, Stone Age man existed for 100,000 years before beginning to make written records about 4,000-5,000 years ago. Prehistoric man built megalithic monuments, made beautiful cave paintings, and kept records of lunar phases. Why would he wait a thousand centuries before using the same skills to record history? The biblical time-scale is much more likely.
The point is that the maximum possible ages are always much less that the required evolutionary ages, while the biblical age (6,000-10,000 years) always fits comfortably within the maximum possible ages.
The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics is a universal law of decay, the ultimate cause of why everything ultimately falls apart and disintegrates over time. Material things are not eternal. Everything appears to change eventually, and chaos increases. This law observes the fact that the useable energy in the universe is becoming less and less, and in the end, there would be no available energy left.
Evolution requires that physical laws and atoms organize themselves into increasingly complex and beneficial, ordered arrangements. Thus, over eons of time, billions of things are supposed to have developed upward, becoming more orderly and complex. However, 2nd Law of Thermodynamics reveals the exact opposite. In the long run, complex ordered arrangements actually tend to become simpler and more disorderly with time. There is an irreversible downward trend at work throughout the universe. Thus, Evolution, with its ever-increasing order and complexity, appears impossible in the natural world .
