…We then prayed together, aloud. I told God that I knew I was a sinner and asked him for forgivness of my sins. I then asked him to come into my heart and take over my life. I knew I couldn’t do things on my own. Continuing with the prayer I acknowledged that Jesus died for my sins, so that I may have eternal life. I also thanked him for the wonderful gift, knowing that I was not worthy of such a gift.
After praying, I broke down and cried. I didn’t cry of sadness, but of remarkable happiness. At that moment I truly realized the “price” that was paid for my sins. The love that God has for us, by giving us such a selfless gift, showed me that we may ALL have eternal life.
